This site is an independent community resource for Open Notebook. We keep things simple.

What We Collect

When you browse: Nothing. No analytics, no cookies, no tracking. We don't use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking.

When you buy the Production Manual: Paddle (our payment processor) collects the information needed to process your payment — email, payment method, and billing details. We receive your email address and order reference from Paddle. We use this only to deliver your purchase and send update notifications.

When you email us: Whatever you put in the email. We use it to reply to you. That's it.

What We Don't Do

• We don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone
• We don't send marketing emails (only purchase delivery and product updates)
• We don't use tracking cookies or analytics
• We don't have social media embeds or ad networks on this site

Payment Processing

Payments are handled by Paddle. Paddle is GDPR-compliant and PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. Your payment details never touch our servers. See Paddle's privacy policy for details.

Data Retention

We keep purchase records as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. If you want your information deleted, email support@localnotebook.dev and we'll handle it within 30 days.
